“You surprised us with the request to come by and check our Rotorswing system. We are used to some service in more than 50 years of sailing, but not at the request of the suppliers themselves and certainly not in this size.

Due to Covid 19 regulations, we did not visit ports in Scandinavia and England. We have, however, often sailed along the Dutch and Belgian coast.
After our previous ship, we chose RotorSwing this time. You hear nothing. No diesel. Simply via our 24 Volt battery pack.
If a problem ever arises there, just switch around and via the 220 Volt generator. In short, we are satisfied with this intelligent system and your great service.
“For RotorSwing Marine the MotorYacht “VRYBURG” was the ultimate practical endurance test for the RotorSwing Magnus effect stabilizers. Installed at Altena Marine in Raamsdonksveer, the system worked flawless over a long trip from Holland to Norway and back. Over 620 hours in full open North Sea navigation is a compliment for the crew and the installation. We thank the owner for his willingness to fulfill various test runs.

“One of the reasons we went for a RotorSwing stabilization system is the fact that we also sail a lot on inland waterways and the rotor system is much less vulnerable than a system with fins. We have one of the first RotorSwing systems and therefore kept in mind that we could face a few teething issues and some associated risks bearing seeing as our yacht is relatively large and heavy. We use the boat intensively with the whole family, sail a lot and put her to the test and that includes the rotor system. We knew nothing other than the boat being very comfortable and stable. That was until we returning from Lowesoft with wind force 7 and the system failed. It was then that we experienced how it is to have to sail without a rotor system. The problem turned out to be with the fan and therefore the cooling of the system and luckily not with the system itself. We had loaded the system heavily and for a very long period of time causing the fan to overheat. The service we experienced from RotorSwing was very professional and very good and they are now in the process of looking for a good, permanent solution to the problem. Meanwhile, following close consultation, we have emergency measures in place and we can enjoy the rest of the season with a very stable and comfortable yacht.

“First we had contact and tests with several yacht roll-stabilizer producers. The first impression is very important. So we went to the Rotorswing factory in Nuth, the Netherlands, where we had a factory tour at the company and everything looked very neat and professional. We had a very good feeling about it, compared to other companies, so we signed the papers and were happy to get a stabilizer system soon. On March 21 we left our harbour in Maastricht for Wessem with our yacht. Via 2 locks in Born and Maasbracht, to the shipyard Schippersdock in Wessem, where the installation of our Rotorswing took place. The way the guys did their installation-job was outstanding, next to the communication during the project. Also a benefit is how they treat their customers along the way. The Rotorswing crew really looks after you. The after sales were also perfect. We are using the Rotorswing for several months now and it does it’s job more than very good. A recommendation worth!

“RotorSwing was a game changer for my Yacht. You cannot realise how important good stabilization is, especially at anchor, until you do not have it switched on. Comfort has increased dramatically, and everyone onboard has noticed that straight away. RotorSwing’s system is doing its job very effectively, with high performance stabilization, ease of operation, no noticeable noise during day or night at anchor and no limitations of any kind on the ships operation in the water. RotorSwing technology is powerful and simple at the same time and the installation process as a retrofit, like for my Yacht, was not invasive as other systems certainly are. I definitely recommend RotorSwing to any keen Yacht owner looking for the ultimate comfort at sea with peace of mind of ease of operation.
