Last weekend, on October 16 & 17, we hosted “On Board with RotorSwing”.
Two beautiful days on the water, filled with enthusiastic visitors, valuable conversations and, above all, firsthand experiences with RotorSwing stabilization.
As we often say, rotor stabilization and the Magnus effect can be explained in great detail. But truly understanding the difference is something else entirely. The best way to understand it is to experience it for yourself. That is exactly what these demonstration days were all about: feeling what stabilization can mean for comfort, confidence and safety on board.
Aboard a Linssen 45 SL Sedan equipped with two RotorSwing stabilizers, we took guests out onto the water to demonstrate the system in action. Although the weather conditions were excellent and wave heights remained limited, the stabilizers could still be clearly demonstrated using our forced-roll function. By generating forces in the opposite direction, the vessel is intentionally brought into motion, allowing guests to experience firsthand the power and effectiveness of the system.
The reactions spoke for themselves.
"It's incredible that rotating cylinders can move a 22-ton yacht like that."
Moments like these are exactly why we organize these events. Seeing understanding turn into confidence is something we never take for granted.
Our greatest thanks goes to the owner of this Linssen yacht. Having trusted RotorSwing for more than four years already, across two different Linssen yachts, he generously welcomed interested visitors on board to experience the system for themselves. We are grateful for his enthusiasm, hospitality and continued confidence in RotorSwing.
Couldn't make it to this edition of On Board with RotorSwing? You're always welcome to experience RotorSwing for yourself. Feel free to contact us, and we'll be happy to arrange a demonstration trip.
