RotorSwing yacht stabilizers are 100% electric: no hydraulics, no oil, and no vulnerable electronics below the waterline. RotorSwing builds fully electric stabilization for motor yachts from 12 to 40 meters (roughly 39 to 131 feet), in both rotor and fin configurations.

What “100% electric” actually means

In stabilization, “electric” can describe an electric pump inside a hydraulic circuit.

RotorSwing means it literally.

The entire system, from drive to control, is electric. There is no hydraulic power pack, no oil reservoir, no hydraulic hoses anywhere on board.

The electronics stay inside the yacht

There is a second architecture decision that owners appreciate for years: RotorSwing places no vulnerable electronics below the waterline. Everything sensitive lives inside the yacht, above the waterline, where inspection, service and any eventual component replacement stay straightforward. What sits in the water is engineered to be there. What is not, stays dry.

Electric at every size in our range

Fully electric stabilization is sometimes framed as something for smaller yachts. Our range says otherwise: RotorSwing builds 100% electric systems for motor yachts from 12 to 40 meters, and the strongest reference in the fleet is a 109-foot Baglietto running four electric rotor units. Electric is not the compromise option. It is the architecture we chose because it is simpler, cleaner and quieter at every size we build for.

Both technology families share it: the electric rotor mechanism and electric fin technology in depth. It is the common foundation of every stabilization technology explained.

You control it your way

Electric architecture also keeps the interface simple. Manage the system from the dedicated 5-inch touchscreen with real-time performance data, or through a clean dashboard integration with your existing Raymarine, Garmin or Simrad displays. The choice is yours, and the technology works quietly in the background either way.
